Description: Excavation Contractors LLC is looking for a Project Lead to fill a unique role in our up and coming drainage, demo, excavation, and land clearing company. You will be responsible for job execution from start to finish with help from the Project Manager along the way. You will be operating equipment but this job will also require you to get your hands dirty with labor work and occasionally directing laborers. As we grow, we will build a crew set up for your success and the companies’. Our jobs range from smaller residential earthwork and drainage jobs up to large land clearing jobs. The ideal candidate will be able to take verbal and written direction on the job and implement from start to finish with minimal help. The Project Manager will order materials and equipment for the project. Responsibilities: ● Responsible for job execution from start to finish ● Able to run equipment and labor ● Run crew of up to 2 people: Ensuring proper equipment and tools are on site, daily meetings for what needs to be completed, hold safety meetings, report to project manager. ● Writing daily logs/timecards of day’s progress and projecting time to complete. Skills: ● Able to read plans or sketches ● Operate backhoes, skid steers, dozers, excavators large and small ● Able to use rotating laser and lenker rod to find/set grades ● Understanding of grading, drainage, demo, and land clearing Benefits: Company Truck and other negotiable benefits.
