Private Upper East Side family seeks a dedicated, and hardworking Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their Manhattan apartment. This position consists of a 5-day work week, requiring a rotational and flexible schedule. The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, able to assist in the overall running of the household. The candidate must also be willing and able to work with a large team of staff and be willing to travel with the family to their other residence in East Hampton, NY. Private accommodations will be provided while traveling. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence • Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.) • Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job • Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times • Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times • Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family Requirements: • Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Minimum 7 - 10+ years of experience working in a private home • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, organization, fine arts, and antiques • Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all time • Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel upon request • Legally able to work in the United States
