To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles. Responsibilities Timely and accurate delivery including install of appliances Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust and install various appliances Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, laundry, etc. Loading and unloading up to 75 - 600 lbs with the assistance of an appliance dolly/shoulder dolly/appliance wheel Skills Proven experience as a Driver A valid driver’s license A clean driving record Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) Familiarity with GPS devices Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) Qualifications/Requirements Must have a valid driver's license (CDL not required) and clean driving record Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to pass a criminal record check, DOT Physical, physical abilities test and drug screen Previous furniture or appliance delivery and installation experience preferred but not required Ability to operate a company vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions Must be able to work with common hardware and power tools Knowledge in Smartphone technology and basic understanding of wireless networks Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekend, evening and holiday hours and seasonal spikes in volume - the number of hours/day are dependent on the number of deliveries (5-15 average/day) scheduled COVID-19 precautions Personal protective equipment provided or required All customers are required to wear masks.
