Maybe no one is interested, I know the city of Spokane is not!
Anyone who has lived in Spokane more than a few days can see the homeless riding bicycles everywhere and dismantling them right out in the open and dividing up parts. Well, if your bicycle has been stolen it may be with the pile in one of the two homeless camps, located on the banks of the Spokane river. If you go to 2405 E. Upriver dr. (Brookside apts) and stand in the drive and face the river, one 2 man camp is to the left just follow a random trail and look for tarps and lots of bicycles. The other is to your right. There are a lot of nice bikes, one is a mens, grey racing Schwinn, another is a trek. they come in on a regular basis and it makes me sick, some are worth alot of money.
The code enforcement has been there but turn a blind eye. The city used to clear out all the transients but this year have made it very clear that they can stay put. I guess they want a piece of Portland. A very ugly piece!
No response to this ad. The city is getting upset at the taxpayers complaining. They would rather give preference to the druggies, theives and all the crap on the river banks. I mean literal crap. Watch your step!
