Help us bring the neighborhood Nest back to life in SE Portland. The day includes building a human sized nest , ritual, and photography. Please join us for this special day of gathering and building a human sized bird's nest that all can enjoy in SE Portland. Three years ago a nest was built and named Isis that sat in the yard of The Fuller House on Hawthorne Ave near Mt. Tabor. She stayed there as a gift to the neighborhood. Anyone could get in, take a photo, and enjoy a little pocket and a safe space for a moment. Slowly, Isis has gone back down into the earth and needs us to bring her back to life so she can hold all the joys and sorrows in the neighborhood as people walk to Mt Tabor. Get your ticket for this unique nest building event that will include making art out of nature, ritual, dedication, and photography. You can choose to be a part of just the nest building, get a professional photo taken in the nest (clothing optional), and also purchase the artist's first book.."NEST". You'll need to reserve your spot by April 20th.
