Women's Circle. Reclaiming the Power of YOUR VOICE. On April 18th, at 5 pm ETS we welcome you to our Women's Circle dedicated to Throat Chakra. About this Event: Women’s Circles, an age-old tradition, offer a safe, sacred space for women to come together, connect authentically, and give and receive support and healing. Fears and self-discovery issues affect the vast majority of women but are rarely spoken about. Struggling in secret and in silence only deepens the wound of shame, comparison, and competition among us, and women’s circles can act as a potent medicine for that wound. The Circle is a safe, sacred space to connect authentically with other women and walk together towards Freedom with the help of the ancient Medicine of Cacao. On April 18th, we will be learning about one of the main aspects of the human energy body, the Throat Chakra. The center of the throat chakra sits right in between the collarbones, but it radiates all the way down to the heart and up to the third eye. Not surprisingly given its location, the throat chakra governs the mouth, jaw, neck, and throat, including the thyroid gland. In Sanskrit, this Chakra is called Vishuddha (Sanskrit: विशुद्ध, IAST: Viśuddha, English: "especially pure"). The Color Is Blue. The Element is ether. Vishuddha is the Chakra of expression and manifestation. Affirmations: ~It’s safe to express my needs. ~I love to use my voice and express myself. ~I speak my truth freely. ~I trust others. ~I am honest about who I am. Date: 04.18.2021 Throat Chakra Anyone who lives in the modern urban environment is assaulted by sound on a daily basis. Only recently in a span of human evolution, we are as polluted by unwelcomed sound as we are today. While we talk about air, water, and earth pollution, we pay little attention to sound pollution. Unable to close our ears this is pollution against which we have very little defense. It is not that we only experience the overwhelming amount of sounds around us - we also experience dissonance in mass communication. Hungry for the truth, we find ourselves surrounded by the junk sound of advertisements, news broadcasts, and sensational stories designed to fill the already agitated mind. Suppressing the urge to express truthfully, we restrict ourselves to accept niceties and speak the "real" truth only behind others' backs. The throats of men are bound by neckties, which choke their individuality, while women are just beginning to break through centuries of public silence. As we enter the etheric world of the Throat Chakra, we enter a paradoxical realm of great subtlety yet powerful influence. The realm of Vishuddha is the realm of vibrations, sound, communication, and creativity. Each word we use is a symbol of a thing, feeling, concept, process, or relationship. Each image in our mind is a mental symbol for something rea and each thought is a combination of these symbols. With symbols, we can do more with less. Communication is the essential function of the fifth chakra. As self-expression, it is a gateway between the inner and the outer worlds. Only through self-expression, the outer world gets to know what is inside of us.
