Local family seeks experienced nanny for adorable 14-month-old girl. Compensation: $ 15-$ 20 per hour depending on experience. Employment type: Full-time Schedule: M-F 8-4:30 with some flexibility needed, starting as soon as possible. Job Requirements: CPR Certified, background check, experience with toddlers, stellar references, and taking CDC recommended precautions of social distancing, mask wearing in public, and vaccination. Non-smoking, no drugs or drinking during care. Must be reliable for availability. Ideal Nanny: Looking for someone with experience, compassion and energy, who is nurturing to our girl like their own. She loves to be outdoors, and we would love a caregiver who loves to go on long walks at Fort Worden, to the beach, especially someone who enjoys taking her outside year-round. Should be open-minded and willing to collaborate on parenting philosophy. Our Family: Our little girl is an only child, who gives the best hugs, and could puzzle and swing all day. Our home is a few minutes walk from North Beach, Fort Worden, the Fairgrounds and Cappy’s. Mom and Dad both work from home with their own offices, so you will see us during the day. We work a fairly typical 8-4:30 M-F schedule, with occasional fluctuations on start/end time. Mom graduated from PTHS and her family still lives in the area, including her father (grandpa) who lives next door. Dad is from the Netherlands, and we are trying to teach the baby Dutch as well as English. We also have a hypo-allergenic Siberian cat (so even people with cat allergies should not be irritated), who will be indoor and outdoor during the day. Offer: $15-20/hour depending on experience and amount of additional household duties nanny takes over. Offering two weeks of PTO (To be chosen in collaboration) and paid national holidays that the parents have off. Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, MLK Day, President’s Day. We look forward to hearing from you!
