Let's talk chickens! Join Sage and Garden for this informative and fun workshop to discuss Backyard Chickens. Meet some members of our flock and determine if chicken keeping is for you and your family. *REGISTRATION REQUIRED!* We will discuss every step  towards happy, healthy, egg-laying hens. After the workshop and learning how to care for a flock, you can place an order for your very own backyard chicken starter flock! Your backyard chicken starter flock includes 3 female chicks, a brooder starter kit containing a heat lamp system, feeder, waterer, bedding, and chick feed.  Pick up scheduled within 2 weeks after the workshop, pricing provided at the event. You will also receive plans on building a simple yet predator-proof coop. You need not build the coop right away your chicks will be fine with your take-home brooder kit until a proper coop can be built. You will have about a month after you take home your chicks before you will need a coop. We look forward to sharing how backyard chicken keeping has enhanced our lives!
