Description
Owner of a multi acre (30+) property in Happy Valley needs help with property maintenance and improvement. Landscaping, garden, and orchard work; tending chickens; weed, pest, fire and runoff management; general building and equipment maintenance.
We are looking for a self-motivated and directed individual to help us care for a beautiful piece of Santa Cruz. Most importantly we are looking for INTEGRITY, RELIABILITY, AND RESPONSIBILITY.
The ideal candidate has knowledge in the following areas.
· Plants: orchard, landscaping, weeds, and native plants.
· Operating and maintaining small engine equipment: mowers, chainsaws etc..
· Ability to find and manage a helper as projects require.
· General light duty construction, plumbing, and electrical wiring a plus.
· Conversational Spanish a plus.
· Ability to operate a truck and trailer (having a 4WD truck with trailer hitch a plus).
Job Specifics:
· 20-25 hours per week. $25/hour starting wage. Flexible Schedule. If you are the right fit, wage will be open to negotiation after a trial period.
