ISO keys or piano for standards and modern jazz jamming

Upright bass player, 34 y/o. I’m about 5 years into playing jazz standards. I’m looking for a sparring partner. Someone who doesn’t mind a little bit of amateurish bass playing as long as it’s good company. I have a drummer friend that can chip in as well. He’s an actual good musician. I love trio music. Ahmad Jamal/Israel Crosby is kind of my favorite stuff right now. I’m also looking to get started on branching out into more modern stuff like Dave Holland, and post bop. I’ve been listening to music from the book Playing Changes. It’s been really interesting to explore it all. It has me inspired to try some new stuff. My schedule is pretty flexible so practice during the day is my preference. Aiming for once a week or every other week.
