As a Regional General Manager, the continued success of our relationship with our partners depends on you. Directing enterprise-level, multi-site client relationships with annual revenues of between $10 and $20 million, you will set the overall partnership strategy, coordination and evaluation of services. Ensuring that all contractual strategic goals are met, you will be ultimately responsible for providing flawless service delivery and partner satisfaction. Working closely with multiple, dedicated client service teams of 15 to 25 subordinates supervising between 1,000 and 1,500 associates, you will continuously look for new opportunities to be of service to our partners, demonstrating our commitment to their success. Job Responsibilities BUSINESS ACCUMEN Understands the business implications of decisions. Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition. Displays orientation to profitability. Aligns work with strategic goals. Partners with GM's and Regional Vice President to ensure operational excellence in all functional departments across assigned locations; gain comprehensive knowledge of proprietary WMS and related IT equipment; ensure certain customer inventory is received and shipped correctly; continually update profile of warehouse and product placement; ensures proper levels of facility sanitation are maintained. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Review periodic client satisfaction surveys and oversee actions to improve it. Address individual clients when problems are escalated. Meet regularly with executive clients to ensure ongoing client satisfaction. Work with onsite operations manager and service teams to easily identify any service problems or potential problems provide quick and effective solutions. Manage compliance to customer KPI's in all functional areas. Develop and foster a culture of safety throughout the organization by following SIMOS safety policies and procedures - monitor DC safety, physical security and operational metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis FORECASTING AND BUDGETING Inspect and train managers/supervisors to be able to prepare annual and monthly 7-month forecasts. Review and make changes to forecasts and budgets when appropriate. Find lower cost alternatives and saving costs where possible. Responsible for SIMOS account operations, P&L, including customer relations and billing for the region. CHANGE MANAGEMENT Develops workable implementation plans. Communicates changes effectively. Builds commitment and overcomes resistance. Prepares and supports those affected by change. Monitors transition and evaluates results. Develop and refine labor models to assist customer with effective staffing levels for both peak and off-peak volumes. TRAINING Trains any new managers and provides all necessary tools to improve service quality. Maintains quarterly QC audits, schedules and frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures and quarterly Executive Reviews. Ability to partner with HR Manager and Recruiting team to ensure proper staffing levels. Coach, train and develop management team through comprehensive training programs, providing both informal (e.g., on-floor coaching) and formal (e.g., written evaluation) job performance-based feedback. Experience/Education • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred • Min 7-10+ years full facility general operations management experience in progressively increasing levels of responsibility • Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point required • Pick/Pack, Inbound/Outbound, warehouse/distribution or Fresh Cut General Management experience required with preferably responsibility over multiple locations or sites • Successful track record of Safety and Regulatory Compliance • Proven leadership abilities • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience directly managing GM's, AGM's, Operations managers across multiple locations • Excellent problem solving skills • Proactive project management abilities • Prior experience with financial reporting and analysis, including P&L responsibilities • Previous 3PL operational experience is preferred • Previous GM experience as well as multi-location management is preferred • Experience in distribution WMS equipment and operation • Experience with seasonal labor • QA/Inventory experience a plus We look forward to you joining our team!
