Cinco is coming Y'all asked for it!!! Cinco de Mayo Houston Everyone knows Houstonians love a good fiesta. There is no better place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than Downtown. Everyone comes downtown for the biggest events in the city!!! Plus so many bars are within walking distance. It's the MOST walkable neighborhood!! If you want to go to some of the best parties all in one day, this is the event for you. The BEST parties are about the people. Tell your best party people, we'll do the same. ARRIVAL: Please consider taking the MetroRail, Uber, Lyft, Taxi or using PARK & RIDE for the celebration. If you drive, have a designated driver. PARKING: Brand new 800 car Parking Garage at 800 Preston Street. Please look for all typical and emergency parking signs before parking. ATTIRE: This is Cinco de Mayo. Please dress accordingly. This is a chance to dress up In the spirit of the holiday. Many locations will have a dress code. Some will not. Downtown is well lit and maintained sidewalks and how close all the venues are to each other. Wearing heels downtown is much easier than other neighborhoods. We aren't telling you to wear heels. Only that sidewalks are level enough. REGISTER: This page is intended as an informational page. Registration not required to attend any individual event. Each event may have it's own requirements. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming. It's polite. Some may or may only on patio. We'll answer that question on the holiday guide when it comes out. Good news is many venues now offer drinks to go. Grab a to go cocktail while taking the dog for a walk. Enjoy a tasty beverage at home. CULTURAL: This event is informational about all the celebrations happening Downtown for the holiday.
