"I am saddened to learn of the passing of Representative Alcee Hastings. We are beyond grateful for his many years of public service to our community. Representative Hastings was a longtime leader, trailblazer, and a tireless advocate for those without a voice. I am proud to have been able to call the Congressman my friend.
