Description
The 6- mile ride will examine parts of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridor Study. Currently an invitation only ride, will open September. About this Event: The City of San Pablo wants to hear from you; what better way to do that then on a bicycle! Join us on April 10th at the New San Pablo City Hall for a 6-mile community engagement bicycle ride. Together we will examine potential Bicycle and Pedestrian infrastructure improvements in the city. We need your help and feedback to determine the placement and nature of new bike and pedestrian friendly civic improvements. The 6- mile out and back ride will start at 9:30am and will examine elements of the City’s on-going Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridor Study. The City of San Pablo Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridors Study is an outgrowth of the City’s 2017 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. To enhance public safety the ride will be divided into 3 separate pods containing a maximum of twelve riders each. We will travel at "Party Pace" so this event is appropriate for people of all levels of fitness and experience. The ride will also contain multiple stops to discuss various proposed civic improvements. Masks will be mandatory. So please be mindful of the safety of others. We will also obey all the rules of the road. For Maps and Details of our Routes Please click on the links below. Register here in advance for your free tickets that will assign you to a pod. Please check in with your Pod Leader when you arrive at City Hall. This community engagement ride is a collaboration between the City of San Pablo, Toole Design, Kimley-Horn & Associates and Rich City Rides.
