128 South Reopened After Car Fire In Lexington

UPDATE: As of 9:20 a.m., WBZ reported all lanes are open. LEXINGTON, MA — Route 128 South is completely closed due to a car fire near the Massachusetts Avenue exit. Traffic is at a standstill all the way back to Route 3 in Burlington. WBZ reported that as of 8:40 a.m. the fire had been extinguished. Video from the scene shows a charred car in the breakdown lane.
