From the City of Dunedin: April 6, 2021 Welcome to Sue Burness, our new Communications Director, Sue started with the City on March 15. Sue Burness comes to Dunedin from the City of Dublin, Ohio, where she was Director of Communications and Public Information, she started at the City of Dublin in January of 2011. Burness served as the strategic communications/marketing advisor for the City Manager and Leadership team. She led city-wide marketing, strategic communications, messaging, issues management, media relations, crisis communications, graphic design, digital communications, video production, photography and brand alignment for external and internal audiences. Quintas, many of you already know Jorge, he has been with the City since 2014 serving as the Director of Public Works & Utilities / City Engineer. Jorge has been promoted to Deputy City Manager where he will be responsible for oversight of: Parks & Recreation, Fire / Rescue, Public Works & Utilities, Dunedin Library, and the City Marina. He will also manage large scale special projects. "Jorge is more than ready to move up to the Deputy City Manager position given his education and experience," said City Manager Bramley. And we also extend congratulations to Paul Stanek, who has been named the New Director of Public Works. Paul has been with the City of Dunedin for 15 years, and has more than 30 years of public sector utilities management, inspection, and permitting-related experience. He graduated with a BS in Biology from USF and spent 17 years working for the Department of Health (DOH) in Pinellas County. "Paul Stanek's dedication to the community is second to none," said City Manager Jennifer Bramley. "He is more than ready to step in as Director of Public Works and Utilities.
