Lou is an unaltered purebred blue heeler, no papers. Would possibly benefit to have him neutered. He does not mark in the house. Has only had one home his entire life. He is 2 years old but will be 3 in October. He is very sweet and loves his owner. He just wants to be center or attention or he barks or finds something to do himself. He is protective of his owner and can be weary of some strangers but not mean to humans at all, he will bark if scared or intimated but he has never bit at anyone or ever offered to. He loves other dogs but can be a bit overbearing to them sometimes (very annoying to certain dogs) and they can get frustrated with him. But he has always been great with smaller dogs even if they nip at him, he has gotten in a few tussles with larger dogs who challenge him but not often. I believe he should be the only dog in the household as he NEEDS attention and NEEDS to work or play his energy out most of the day and he does get extremely jealous if you spend time with other dogs and not focus your attention on him. He is very stubborn and needs an owner who can discipline him and stick to it or he will walk all over / jump on them. He needs a stern owner preferably with knowledge and experience with WORKING dogs. He comes from great working stock and he is extremely athletic. He knows all of the basic commands and is kennel trained. He is a great boy that just needs someone who can work him and has time to spend with him and where he can be the only dog, and I believe then he would be absolutely amazing dog for someone.
