Description
TYSONS, VA — Celebree School, a preschool that also offers infant and toddler care and summer camps, broke ground last week in Tysons.
Celebree School, a franchise with locations around the Mid-Atlantic states, will be opening its first school in Northern Virginia. The preschool will be located at Valo Park, 7950 Jones Branch Drive, McLean. The preschool provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and after-school care, and summer camp programs.
"Our approach to early childhood education is a holistic one," states Celebree School's website. "Because children are capable of absorbing information on many levels, we emphasize educating the whole child."
Local franchisees Kate and Brian Mulcahy celebrated the March 31 groundbreaking with Andrew Clark, chairman of the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce board; Jennifer Bognet, executive vice president of Bognet; and Sol Glasner, chairman of the Tysons Partnership board. There is no estimated opening date for the preschool at this time.
Celebree School dates back to 1994 when founder Richard Huffman opened his first child learning center in Ellicott City, Maryland. The franchise now has 44 schools open or under development in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
