Western Construction and Equipment is looking for a Light Duty Mechanic. This position is to repair and maintain vehicles and equipment in the fleet. Knowledge of Ford F series pickups, and Chevrolet Silverado pickups is a must. Duties to include scheduling, diagnosing and completing preventative maintenance such as changing oil, filters, tires, checking lights and fluids, rotating tires, greasing parts, and repairing wiring. Additional duties may include picking up and delivering vehicles and equipment, entering work orders, and installing specialty equipment on vehicles. This job requires one to be physical and fully able to walk, stand, crouch, or lay for extended periods of time with ease. Applicants should be able to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds. To be considered for this position you must be able to pass a government required background check.
