Press release from the City of West Des Moines: 04/05/2021 1:27 PM The City of West Des Moines and Metro Waste Authority are offering West Des Moines residents a free Scrap Tire Drop-off on Saturday, April 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the WDM Public Services East facility at 560 South 16th Street. Each household in West Des Moines can drop off a maximum of five tires. Rims must be removed.
