American Bull Dog

Description

ordo is a 2 year American Bulldog (He is NOT an American Pit Bull Terrier, though he is often confused for one). He is vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered. He will come with vaccine paperwork work. Gordo is allergic to fleas and it is important that he remains on flea prevention year round. He is good with cats and female dogs (including very small females), but I have never introduced him to a male dog. I would prefer him in a home with older kids who know how to respect dogs I would like him to go to someone who owns their own home. But would be open to a landlord situation provided I can contact them to make sure a bully/power-breed is permitted. Gordo is crate trained and potty trained, he knows basic commands in spanish, but can easily be retaught english as he is food motivated and very smart. I want Gordo in a home with someone who has some experience with powerful breeds, American Bulldogs can be a little bit more protective than Pit Bulls, and more suspicious of strangers. Gordo is a great dog without a bite history and has never shown any aggression but should be treated with respect especially when you are getting to know him. He is a laid back dog happy to go for a walk but not demanding a lot of exercise, he loves stuffed squeaky toys, busy bones, butt rubs and laying on your bed. There IS a rehoming fee, he will come with vaccine records, food, treats, leash, collar, and the remainder of his ear infection medication (he doesn't have an ear infection anymore but in case it pops up again) New owner must be willing to sign a contract that they do not intend to resell Gordo and that they will contact me if for any reason they cannot keep him.
