Atlanta Rainbow Trout Water Polo Pick-up Scrimmage Water Polo teams are springing up across the State of Georgia. By hosting these new Sunday pick-up scrimmages, Trout hopes to provide our members an opportunity to experience realistic game play that includes occasional guests from teams such as Georgia Tech, Kennesaw, Georgia Southern, UGA, Dynamo, and other area teams. Picture this as a mix between our Scramble Tournament and neighborhood pick-up basketball games. We aim for these games to be fun, low-stress, and provide opportunities for competitive play. If all goes well, we can play up to 3 quick games during a 1.5 hour Sunday block. Sometimes playing as Trout, sometimes mixing up teams. Do not show up unless you: 1) You must have received a negative COVID test diagnosis within one week of play (Sunday, March 7, 2020) and exhibit no symptoms. Do NOT plan to attend if you do not do this. 2) Sign the Trout COVID Waiver (everyone MUST do this to be in the pool). 3) Be sure you have joined USA Water Polo (or your team's governing body if you are not Trout). 4) Masks must be worn on deck and players should practice social distancing when not in the water. Please do NOT attend if you have not completed these step. Water Polo tournaments are taking place across the country using guidelines similar to those we are adopting for this event. Please consider your own personal level of comfort and safety when deciding whether to attend. Health and safety are top priority.
