Volunteer in Golden Gate Park The Dartmouth Club of Greater San Francisco welcomes all Bay Area alumni and their friends and family to help planting, clearing, and maintaining a natural hillside in Golden Gate Park. Over the years the Club has helped prevent erosion and create wildlife habitat in this section of the Park, and there is still work to be done. Once again, we are honored that the event will be led by our own Phil Ginsburg '89, general manager of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and Vice-Chair of the California State Parks and Recreation Commission. Wear gardening clothes and gloves, and feel free to BYO lunch to linger and socialize in Hellman Hollow afterward! ** Meet at "the usual spot" on Overlook Drive, or else at the "Hellman Hollow" sign on John F. Kennedy Drive. **
