Volunteer to help us prepare the trails, fields, ponds, beaches, lodges, and pavilions that will impact lives at Hale this summer. Morning volunteer projects will be completed in Fern Valley (parking will be available at Cat Rock). Afternoon volunteer projects will be completed near Powissett Lodge (parking will be available at Powissett Lodge). Projects may include building picnic tables, painting facilities, removing invasive species and clearing trails, tidying program sites, and more. All work will be completed outside. No tools or special skills are required, but masks and closed-toe shoes are! Remember a water bottle and snack, too. Volunteer coordinators will provide equipment, project details, and supervision. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. In order to participate, a signed release of liability will be required for each participant; these will be distributed and collected prior to the start of project work. Please arrive 15 minutes before your volunteer time to allow time for parking and check-in. Project work will end promptly at respective end times. Space is limited and registration will open soon. Please only register as many volunteers as you will bring, and kindly update the number of people in your party if plans change. We're counting on you to help us complete this important work!
