Press release from the Santa Clara County Government: April 5, 2021 SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – Voting has begun in the May 4th Cupertino Union School District Special Mail-Ballot Election, with ballots being mailed out to all 77,739 registered active voters this week. The election will be conducted entirely by mail. The last day to request a replacement Vote by Mail Ballot is April 27. Although vote centers are not an option in this election, voters who need assistance or who wish to cast a ballot in person may do so at the Registrar of Voters' Office during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays) until Election Day. The office will also be open the Saturday before the Election, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours on Election Day will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are nine official ballot drop-boxes at the following locations: Registrar of Voters – 1555 Berger Drive, Bldg 1 (by the flag pole), San Jose Cupertino City Hall – 10300 Torre Ave., Cupertino Quinlan Community Center – 10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino Sunnyvale Library – 665 West Olive Ave., Sunnyvale Santa Clara City Hall – 1500 Warburton Ave., Santa Clara Los Altos City Hall – 1 N San Antonio Road, Los Altos Hills Saratoga City Hall – 13777 Fruitvale Ave., Saratoga San Jose City Hall – 200 East Santa Clara St., Wing 2, San Jose Santa Clara County Civic Center – 70 West Hedding St., San Jose Voted ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 4, 2021, or postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than 3 days after Election Day. The official election results will be posted on the Registrar of Voter's website at www.sccvote.org. Mail ballots may be returned until 8 p.m. at the County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voters' Office or mailed at any U.S. Post Office or mailbox, postmarked on or before May 4 and received by the Registrar of Voters' Office by May 7. County Voter Information Guides are mailed to all active registered voters for every election and are included in the Vote by Mail packet mailed to voters this week.
