We are looking for someone with the right aptitude, attitude, honesty and dependability to assist with our Heating, Cooling and Handyman Repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some basic skills and wants to learn/expand on those skills to further their career. Pay is based on skill level, work ethic and experience. Job Summary: Home repair, maintenance, remodeling in these areas: - Plumbing and Minor Electrical Knowledge - Flooring / Tile Repair and Installation - Handyman, General Home Repairs and Maintenance Work - Bathroom Remodeling - General Carpentry - Rough and Finish - General labor work Must be - Self-motivated and able to work independently - sees what needs to be done and does it - Able to follow directions carefully and receive training - Willing to learn about various construction materials, tools, techniques and terminology and ask clarifying questions if needed - Reliable and have predictable attendance - In good physical condition and able to handle physical labor and hard work - Willing to work outdoors, in many types of weather conditions, or indoors, respecting people’s homes and the people living there Job Requirements - Experience with basic carpentry tasks or in the construction or HVAC trades - Pride in your work - real desire to do quality work and pay attention to detail - Ability to multi-task, read, write, and calculate data - Familiarity with hand-held tools and ability to use a tape measure correctly - Have driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation - Ability to lift heavy materials (must have no pre-existing back or knee problems) - Ability to pass background check and drug test - Good communication skills - Good references - Smart phone and Internet access
