I'm new to VT and looking to find folks to pick with in the (hopefully) near future. I have most experience in bluegrass but can play some oldtime and older country/some swing. I'd be interested in informal jamming, joining an existing group, starting from scratch etc. I'd like to gig weekly at most but who knows. I've been in a number of bands out west and play guitar, mando, and fiddle. I also sing and have been both front/lead guy and support. I enjoy both. I've got pretty broad experience but am not a pro. I have a family and regular job but definitely willing to put in the practice to make something great and have a somewhat flexible schedule with nights and weekends usually free. I'm in the islands but am OK regularly driving a reasonable amount. Burlington is fine, Montpelier/Barre probably isn't.
