Come and join us for an Earth Day celebration with Adopt Saplings Project (ASAP!) that will include Sapling Care & Poetry Writing Workshop. Yale Blue Green Chicago, Yale Chicago and Color of Change will host an Earth Day celebration of learning and engaging in Sapling Care (10-12:00) and Poetry for Peace Writing Workshop (11-1:00) in Gwendolyn Brooks Park (46th and Greenwood) on April 24th . We will meet at the Gwendolyn Brooks Monument, located on 46th and Greenwood in the North Kenwood neighborhood. Alternatively: April 14th at 6:30-7:15 the Sapling Care video will Live Stream on Facebook with answers to your questions: https://www.facebook.com/margot.mcmahon/ Please bring work gloves, snack, a water bottle, bike if you can, wear a mask and keep socially distanced for both activities.
