Description
CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks are hiring 1,000 people for seasonal work this spring and summer.
The park system will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to noon on April 17 at Stillwater Place in the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Attendees should pre-register for the event.
Interested applicants can also apply for positions online before the event.
Jobs are available to people 16 and older. Most positions offer a 40-hour workweek, with employment starting in spring and continuing through mid-October. There are also some full-time positions available, including roles at park reservations, golf courses, restaurants and the park system police department.
Last year, the Cleveland Metroparks seasonal hiring program was hampered by COVID-19. Many of the park system's most-popular amenities, including Merwin's Wharf and the zoo, were briefly shut down due to health orders.
