Covers Bass with Vox Looking

Can't seem to find a slot as a geetar picker so let's try this :) I played a few years with Zone4 on bass and do enjoy it since my original instrument back in high school was the drums, I can match fills with licks well. Looking for a casual gig out a couple times a month rehearse every now and then situation. I have a standard male vocal range. I can't sing like Steve Perry but I can hold a harmony fairly well, have a strong falsetto and sing my share of lead vox in my range if needed. I have a bass but no rig at the moment but can pickup one easily. I do have a preamp pedal for direct if you rehearse that way. I enjoy playing any dance genre or A side tunes that get the peeps on the floor. I'm a family man with no bad habits. I do enjoy a few beers now and then but no when to say when and is very professional on the biz end of things. I take the music and gig seriously but not myself. I don't feel the need to re-invent the mousetrap or get caught in the battle of the bands bullshit, I just wanna play!
