DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Police arrested two men as suspects in the murder of a 19-year-old and the armed robbery of a 17-year old, both of which took place on Easter Sunday in Brookhaven.
Around 7 p.m. Sunday, Brookhaven Police Department officers responded to reports of a person shot at Highland Knoll Apartments on Buford Highway in Brookhaven. Officers arrived to find 19-year-old Domingo Paco-Camacho suffering from at least one gunshot wound, BPD spokesperson Lt. David Snively said.
BPD officers and DeKalb Fire Rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures on Paco-Camacho, but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Bre'On Harlold Corbin, 17, of Lawrenceville, and Jervano Johnson, 19, of Norcross, are charged with murder in the shooting death of Paco-Camacho. Johnson was arrested Sunday night at home in Gwinnett County, while Corbin was arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop.
The men are also charged with armed robbery against Kevin Daniel Pano-Galvez, 17, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Arrest warrants show both incidents took place during the robbery April 4, in which allegedly involved a weapon, cash, a cell phone and drugs.
Both suspects are being held in DeKalb County Jail without bond.
