Pool technician needed. Experience in the pool industry is great but not necessary. As an employee, you will have a 3-6 month training period in which you will ride along with the owner. The end goal is to have you work a route on your own. The training time depends on you and how quickly you can learn. You must have a truck or ready to get one by the time your training is complete. A pool technician's responsibilities will go beyond just learning how to clean a pool. You will also learn water chemistry and the required chemicals to maintain a healthy pool. You will learn about all pool equipment and how it runs. Plumbing and electrical work is also very much involved. It is very important that you have a good attitude, great customer service skills, are efficienct, goal driven, detail oriented, reliable and responsible. Along with dedication and hard work, this can be the start of an amazing new career!
