Small food manufacturer is looking for a full-time Production Line Assistant. Responsibilities will include: • Check and review daily production schedule—know what is to be produced and what is needed to support the day’s goal. • Assist on production line during the manufacturing of food products. • Pull packaging material. • Maintain clean equipment – valve, fillers, conveyors, capper, taper—should all look like new. • Break down, Clean, Sanitize, and assemble production line equipment. • Maintain clean work areas and floors. • Plan for next day’s production. • Quality check all finished product to ensure it meets our standards of excellence. • Assist in maintaining Warehouse Inventory and cleanliness. • Assist with Shipping and Receiving. The hours are 6:00am to 4:45pm Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime. Training will be provided to the right individual who has an open mind and who is eager to learn about the food industry. The successful candidate should possess excellent English communication skills and speaking Spanish is a plus. Must be clean and well-groomed, have a professional appearance, be a team player, pay attention to detail, and be quick and energetic. Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and transfer up to 60 pounds. Minimum of high school completion required. Production line and/or warehouse experience preferred. Must be dependable and not miss a lot of work. Medical, vacation, sick time, holidays.
