We are a vacation rental property management company looking for a full time property maintenance manager/handyman. The Property Maintenance Manager would be a full time employee in the Los Angeles area. This person will be responsible for preparing our rental properties for the arrival of guests and handling any maintenance issues. We are also open to anyone who is willing to do on call handyman work when needed if you are not available full time. Responsibilities: - Manage all property maintenance issues - Performing and Documenting Property Maintenance Inspections - Schedule and perform repairs when necessary - Estimate time and extent of repairs - Perform New Home Onboarding Inspection: Going through a checklist of questions for each new home with the homeowner - Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary - Continue to work with the team to develop a list of vendors - Works closely with the administrative team to ensure host and guest satisfaction Required Qualifications: - Access to reliable transportation. - Ability to communicate effectively. - Smartphone required and laptop preferred. - previous experience in property maintenance required - Preference to applicants who have a rolodex of local maintenance workers. - Preference to applicants who can also speak Spanish.
