Rockwood is an established Rock/Roots Rock/Americana band based in Boston and we’re looking for a new Drummer! We focus on original songs and growing a dedicated fan base with the goal of being a full time, professional band. We’ve recorded two studio EP’s (with another on the horizon) since 2018, and work to produce consistent social media content. We play consistently throughout the Boston area with some good contacts, and we’re working towards playing bigger and better shows in the Boston area and regionally (while balancing personal lives). Ideally we’re looking for someone roughly in the age range of 25-35 who’s committed to building an original band, writing and arranging songs, and most importantly, a good hang. We’re a very dedicated but easy going 5 piece group of guys (with drummer) who write, arrange, jam, and hang in a productive, stress free environment. Some of our influences include Allman Brothers, Drive By Truckers, Chicago Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Thin Lizzy, Zeppelin, etc. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
