Donations needed. Junction City Church of the Nazarene, Junction City, Oregon, is starting a Community Garden. We are calling it “the Lord’s Table”. We are putting in 25, 4’ X 8’ raised beds for use by the community. All are welcome, First Come, First Served. We are asking a donation of $30.00 per plot for the season to cover the expense of the water. The season is 15 April to 1 November 2021. We have seeds available at no cost or you can supply your own. The Church Gardeners will be supporting the Junction City Local Aid. We are in need of the following items: First and foremost, PRAYERS for a successful community garden project. We want to feed the Body and the Soul. A small tractor with a front blade or frontend loader and a rear mounted rototiller. A rear-tine rototiller. A small mantis type rototiller for use inside of the raised beds. Hand garden tools Large quantity of compost About 360’ of 5 or 6 foot high chain link fence with a double gate Cash to purchase these items is also acceptable or sponsor a family for the season.
