We are a family-run, agricultural-based business just outside of Whitewater, WI. We have several openings available running through December for weekend work selling home-grown, hand-made, herbal products at farmers' markets throughout Madison. The position involves driving to, setting-up, selling and taking down a popular herbal goat milk soap stand. In addition to attending farmers' markets, the position also involves hands-on involvement on the farm. You will be employed in the soap-making production at various stages, starting in the herb gardens, goat barn, production shop, packaging, and marketing of these unique and high-quality herbal products. The ideal person will * have knowledge and/or appreciation of natural/organic living practices; * be willing and able to drive to regularly scheduled markets; *be responsible, honest, out-going and interested in local community involvement; * interested in learning the entrepreneurial process, cooking and/or organic chemistry; * promote ecologically sound living practices. This is an opportunity to express your marketing abilities and network in the region's most prestigious markets. The working environment is both entertaining and wholesome.
