Local established van rental company is seeking a new team member to join our staff immediately! In this role as a Car Washer/Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are clean, maintained, safe and ready to be picked up for our customers. This is a part-time position...approx 25 hours per week. May lead to a full-time position. Previous experience is a plus...willing to train the right candidate. Job Responsibilities • Take vehicles to the local automated car wash to vacuum, wash, clean and dry; clean and sanitize vehicle interior per company standards • Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect vehicle for new damage; make sure a copy of the current insurance is in the vehicle, verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate, • Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth. damage • Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage. • Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning and sanitization supplies are available • Pull seats in and out of the vehicles as needed • Assists customers when needed. • Transport customers to and from the airport • Deliver vehicles to customers and other branches • Take vehicles to mechanic for maintenance and repair • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Job Requirements • Must be 21 years of age or older • Must have at least 1-year prior work experience • Must have a valid Nevada driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 5 years • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record • Must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality • Must be professional in appearance • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management. • Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be willing to work weekends when needed • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. This is a part-time position. Approximately 25 hours per week. Must be flexible with schedule and willing to work weekends when needed.
