Apprenticeship Program: Looking to grow within the company. We have multiple divisions that are expanding and looking for warehouse staff that has the ability to grow into field technicians. On the job training - learning about all the divisions through helping on job sites and seeing first hand what Fire Extinguisher, Alarm and Sprinkler technicians do on the job site. Compensation: Beginning salary $14.50-16.00 per hour Employment type :Full-time or Part-time, Industry: Life Safety / Fire Protection Service Industry Total Fire & Safety, a mid-west fire protection service company, is seeking a Full-time and Part-time Warehouse/Service Assistant. Total Fire & Safety, a family owed company, has been in business for over 20 years. We are a fast growing company and are looking to expand our most successful markets. We are looking for an individual with a high level of energy and drive. We offer training and the potential for growth into other areas of our company. Full-time and Part-time duties:* Learn how to service fire extinguishers, help on job sites, Prepares stock replenishment for technicians* Receives, rotates and delivers stock/products* Maintains the general condition of warehouse * Participates in building maintenance including cleaning; small electrical/carpentry repairs; lawns care; snow plowing Qualifications: * High school diploma/some college preferred * Good interpersonal skills/team player * Technical/mechanical skills a plus* Valid driver’s license required* Training will be provided. Experience: Prior experience in a technical shop/service industry preferred, but not required.
