Manko Window Systems, Inc in Des Moines, IA is looking to fill 1-2 full-time Class A CDL delivery driver positions. This position will allow you to be home a MINIMUM of 5 nights per week. Most drivers are home all 7 nights; regardless, you will be home on weekends. We do this to ensure a healthy work-life balance for all of our employees. Our branch delivers to IA, MN, WI, SD, NE, and IL. As a driver you will be required to: Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines in regards to your CDL including traffic laws. Unload your product by hand and communicate with the customer contact to verify help when needed. Do thorough pre/post trips at the beginning and end of each shift. Communicate any product breakage, maintenance needs, and/ or customer concerns to the appropriate channels. Have OUTSTANDING customer service and build a rapport with all customers on route. Must take care of your truck including cleanliness and minor maintenance needs as necessary. Must be reliable, respectful, responsible, and trustworthy. This position will start as hourly with the potential to convert to mileage, depending on the route assigned, after your 90 day probationary period. All raise increases will depend on individual employee's performance. We operate year-round and have shop work available when work may be slow. Our company will renew your med card for the duration of your employment at no cost to you. We have paid single health and dental benefits available at 60 days with other plans available including Aflac and paid Life Insurance. Vacation after 1 year and 401K/Profit sharing after 6 months.
