Job Summary Manko Windows is looking to fill 1-2 assembler/operator positions at our Des Moines location. Our company guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week year round with overtime available and paid weekly. We promote from within and have plenty of opportunities for advancement. General requirements are: Attendance--must be to work everyday, on time; 5-10 minutes early. Labor--must be able to lift up to 50+lbs regularly. Independence--must be a self starter and able to work alone as well as in a team setting. Knowledge--Must be able to read a tape measure! The position we are looking to fill starts at 630am. End time is when the work is done. You will receive on-the-job training from a supervisor or team lead. Employee must pass a physical, strength & agility test, as well as a drug-screen prior to employment. Responsibilities and Duties Fabricator responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: cutting metal, measuring, building, assembling, machine operating, lifting, hand tool use, and all other tasks as assigned! Quality is also a requirement. Qualifications and Skills Although this is an entry-level position with on-the-job training, the ability to safely complete all tasks is essential and of the utmost priority. Safety protocols are required including PPE (which is provided). The ability to read and provide a tape measure is also required. Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
