Description Our Maintenance/Groundskeeper’s are essential team members that maintain the overall curb appeal of our apartment communities. They have a great eye for detail, enjoy working out in the fresh air and take great pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment. The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: -Maintain apartment grounds free of trash and debris. -Maintain apartment landscaping, including water and raking. -Maintain swimming pool in a clean condition and keep the required chemicals in the proper balance. -Maintain public facilities, bathrooms, club room, foyers and stairways in a clean and safe condition. -Perform all work necessary, which includes cleaning and other minor repairs to make-ready a unit for occupancy. -Assist in moving heavy objects that require two persons to move them. -Make minor repairs to the exterior of the building as required. -Changing air conditioning filters. -Assist with the installation of appliances. -Maintaining exterior lighting, which would include changing light bulbs. -Maintain and make all necessary repairs to parking areas. -Work with all Company personnel.
