Since 1997, VanCon has been specializing in culinary water, waste-water, secondary irrigation, storm drain, parks, trails, pump stations, lift stations, treatment plants and other infrastructure projects helping local Municipalities and Districts maintain and expand their infrastructure for growth and upgrade aging facilities, throughout the state of Utah.
Job Summary
Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials. The position may assist other craft workers
Responsibilities
Manual work in preparing and finishing construction site
Using hand tools in different areas of the project
Maintains a clean job site
Secure equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards
Performs materials handling and storage.
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Be able to lift 25 – 100 lbs.
