Reports to: General Manager
Personal / Interpersonal Competencies:
Must acknowledge every guest encountered with appropriate gesture (i.e. nod) and smile
Must communicate and perform effectively with all hotel guests and employees
Maintain current understanding of surrounding area and events
Functional Competencies
Clean and maintain the exterior of the hotel. This includes the parking lot, walkways, landscape, dumpster areas and breezeways
Empty all trash cans around the building, all public spaces, pool area and offices daily.
Clean lobby and guest rooms windows and exterior doors weekly
Clean and dust HVAC grates, light fixtures, and stairwells according to the schedule laid out by management
Maintain a clean dumpster area daily
Clean and vacuum the pool as required by the management team
Clean, wipe and re-organize all the pool furniture daily
Clean and reset the meeting room before and after each meeting
Remove trash from housekeeping carts periodically throughout the day
Assist housekeeping staff when requested of by the General Manager
Participate in all PM projects that are being done at the hotel when coordinated by the GM
Assist maintenance will the basic PM tasks in the guest rooms
Must assist any hotel staff that needs assistance with a guest issue
Job duties are subject to change without any prior written notice from management
Physical Requirements
Must be able to spend extended periods of work standing
Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, reach and walk
Must have reliable transportation
Must be available via cell phone when needed
Must be able to work some early and some late hours as needed
