See below for the job description and individual requirements. We are seeking an experienced fleet mechanic to maintain our fleet of trucks. We have trucks ranging from GMC and Chevy ½ tons to larger diesel s. We also have many trailers of various sizes and heavy equipment to include trenchers, skid steers, etc. The majority of our fleet includes diesel Isuzu Box Trucks so experience working on these is a plus. We offer Dedicated shop area to work out of. Competitive Salary Benefits after 90 days; including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401k, Paid Holidays Paid Company Uniforms Boot Voucher program Requirements: Must have clean Driver’s License Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays Demonstrate ability to drive large trucks in tight spaces, back truck with trailer, safely operate forklift Must have welding experience Must have own tools (we will provide secure storage for the tools) Must be able to effectively communicate equipment problem, necessary repairs, and timeline to repair to direct supervisor Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus Must have 3-5 years verifiable experience (references will be checked) Must pass pre-employment drug screen Above all must demonstrate a positive attitude when dealing with all members of our Team Basic Mechanical functions- · Perform detailed preventative maintenance, inspections & repairs to all vehicles in our fleet. · Able to perform a detailed diagnosis of equipment in need of repair and either repair it correctly in a timely manner or report on status to your Supervisor so necessary repairs can be made · Able to perform complete driveline, steering & suspension maintenance · Perform electrical troubleshooting & electronic component repair · Familiar with all aspects of heavy duty mechanical conditions & components · Perform A/C diagnosis, recovery and repairs · Able to properly operate a welder and cutting torch · Knowledgeable in emissions & repairs. · Comply with shop safety procedures. · Be willing and able to complete paperwork for repairs in a neat and timely manner. · Strong knowledge of Isuzu Box Trucks a plus! Tenemos vehículos desde GMC, Chevy de ½ tonelada hasta camiones grandes diésel. Tenemos también varias trailas en varios tamaños, así como trenchadoras, sked steers, etc. La mayoría de nuestra flota vehicular está compuesta de camiones diésel Isuzu de caja cerrada, por lo que experiencia con estos vehículos en un plus.
