NATIONAL FACILITY MAINTENANCE COMPANY SEEKS EXPERIENCED HANDYMAN/MAINTENANCE TECHS TO SERVE OUR COMMERCIAL CLIENTS. GOOD PAY + BENEFITS + ADVANCEMENT. ON-CALL WORK. GREAT AS FILL IN JOBS. Must have your own work transportation (truck or van), your own general and standard power tools and able to receive and print work orders and have experience in the typical service calls listed below. Experience in office repairs and electrical and plumbing is needed. BEST FIT for someone seeking to ADD to their existing workload or who wants some Part-Time, Fill In work. May turn into more time. Handle our commercial client Service Calls. Pay is Direct Deposit into your bank every 2 weeks. Our company pays for supplies and materials. Company benefits available. Service Calls include: - Fixing doors, cabinets, hinges, handles, simple woodwork, etc. - Fixing dental equipment and supply lines. - Fixing basic plumbing like clogs, flappers, flushing mechanisms, toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, filters, etc. - Basic electrical such as changing lights, ballasts, fixtures switches, outlets, switches and troubleshooting, etc. - Patching and fixing drywall, installing backing, prep and painting. - Fix minor flooring issues with carpeting, tile, VCT, transitions, etc. - General repairs and labor duties, hanging frames, moving furniture, etc. - Communicate with customers about scope of work. - Ensure the efficient use of materials. - Team player who can work independently. We hire reliable, customer service-focused employees who are knowledgeable and skilled in general Handyman work, experienced in many areas of handyman repairs. Requirements: - Must have experience, knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks. - High School degree or GED and at least 2 years of experience in handyman/maintenance tech work. - Candidates must be legally to work in the US and be over 21 years of age. - Candidates must have a clean and valid driver's license and clean background. Compensation: Our Company offers good wages, benefits and opportunities to include: - Good starting hourly wage at $22.00 Per Hour PLUS $3.00 Per Hour for Gas/Car Use = Total of $25.00 Per Hr. - Increase to $26.00 Per Hour PLUS $3.00 Per Hour for Gas/Car Use to total $29.00 Per Hr. after 90 days based on reliability, work product, experience and qualifications. - Paid Vacations after 1 year of continuous employment. - Company 401K Retirement Plan w/company contribution. - Free uniforms shirts. - Dental and Vision insurance with minimal co-pay. - Advancement opportunities. - Employee discount benefits. Work is generally simple, 99% indoors, Mon-Fri.
