Summary/Objective The Essential Wholesale Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of machinery and support of production output. This position is essential to the growth and prosperity of the company, and to facilitate that desired outcome. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Perform routine daily checks, including checks of the compressor, cooler, lighting, water leaks, DI tank, and conducting a full walkthrough of the facility. Support production according to the production scheduled. Providing compounding assistance as needed, and react to all initial problems Provide first-class technical support to the manufacturing enterprise daily, supporting facility operations and personnel to ensure a safety-first environment Preventive maintenance according to an established schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), check forklift, compressor, fire extinguishers, check and service shrink wrapper, and check with supervisors to uncover and resolve any problems and minimize downtime Manage parts and supply inventories for equipment and building Repair and/or move machinery as needed or planned Train operators on minimal maintenance of machinery Maintain a critical eye toward how to improve process flow and material layout Keep facility clear of hazards and safe for workers, and help keep work areas clean Competencies Good communication skills and solid reasoning ability. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Good organization and time management skills. Critical thinking and highly organized
