We are in need of a trash collector operator. A valid driver's license is required, and a good driving record is preferred. CDL class licenses are even more appealing. The operator will be responsible for running a regular trash route in and around Ogdensburg. The operator will be on his/her own, so a self motivated person is essential. As the client base grows (which would be a direct result of good service) the job will grow in the number of hours per week. There is some heavy lifting required, and constant lifting all day. The use of a pick-up truck with a large dump trailer is required, and backing up is often required, so a good equipment operator is essential. We are looking for candidates that know how to respect equipment, and if they know how to do maintenance on the equipment that would be great. We also do snow plowing, so that a person could get some additional hours beyond the trash route hours. Some customers are very particular about which day is their trash day, so we need someone that always comes to work and is able to get the job done consistently. There is some paperwork that needs to be done, as a daily part of the job, so we need someone that is organized with record keeping.
