Description
I have a couple of breeding zebra finches and two of their babies (1male 1female) living with some other finches in a large double flight cage that has a divider (can be used as one cage or two). This cage is an awesome option if you have birds that may periodically need to be separated - because of breeding or agression - but you only want to keep one cage in the house. I've made some modifications to make it a bit more bird friendly. Seed guard and modified trays for removal of bottom grate are two main changes.
If you are interested in the birds, you must be committed to providing a SPACIOUS SAFE cage and be able to provide clean water and a variety of fresh foods on a regular basis. Finches aren't like parakeets. They prefer not to be handled and they need room to fly.
Large Cage is 65" x 19" x 64"
I've been using it for a few months and want to downsize to keeping just my gouldian and owl finches.
The zebra finches are available for adoption.
I have a smaller flight cage available ($40) and the large cage available ($150). Basic perches and dishes will come with cages but not all accessories.
