Diamond Products is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to service the Flathead and North West region of MT. The successful candidate could reside anywhere in this region. This is a home-based position located remotely from Diamond Products’ Helena, MT Headquarters. Scope of work includes installation, repair and maintenance of commercial dishmachines, laundry cleaning systems, and other associated kitchen and laundry chemical dispensing equipment. Work will generally be conducted either from home or in restaurant/bar and laundry settings. Frequent out of town travel required. Occasional overnight travel required. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed worker possessing excellent mechanical skills and customer service skills. Familiarity with plumbing and electrical troubleshooting is a plus. Must be capable of routine lifting, carrying, and transporting of 75# or more. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and remotely located coworkers. Diamond Products will train the successful candidate as needed. Starting wage $15-19/hr plus benefits, depending upon qualifications. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, however weekend customer support, on call, and overtime is required here and there. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Diamond Products is a manufacturer of cleaning products sold in MT, ID, SD and WA. We also sell, lease and service commercial dishmachines in this region and provide general janitorial products distribution to the Helena area.
